When people are going to get real about debt and credit?
I've been reading a lot lately about credit market adjustment, and saw a figure that puzzled me. He said that Americans spend an average of 6 percent over a year than they earn, and that credit cards are part of reason. I stopped using credit cards altogether three years ago. I was tired of fighting with the companies about late fees, etc. and took a few steps important to wipe out the debt. We resist the temptation to borrow against our house, and while it is adjusted for a while, we are in a much better now, the smart money. Now ... I finally understood that the amount of money paid by buying on credit was simply crazy. Why do not most people understand they are paying a mint just to sheer drop that plastic? The loan is unsecured debt, and debt is just a murderer. Then, What does it take to convince people to stop running of debt?
Hopefully this "recession" will awaken a lot of people by euphoria over the current debt in All we hear on the news is how bad is the credit market. Bad??? is it?? With people the credit crunch No purchase homes they can not afford. They are not buying SUV's that can not afford. They are being rejected by most credit cards. They are no longer able to use their house or saving for retirement as an additional credit card. So what is so bad? The current crisis is actually helping people to live within their means. Credit Crisis Hurray!
