Anybody else want to Stargate Atlantis to continue as a series and not movies?
In August 2008, is canceled as a series Stargate Atlantis and are now being performed in a 2-hour movie
Personally, I would not end so soon. But I also believe that with the cancellation I'm glad they're making movies instead of just ended the show with a sudden episode that solves all your problems. They are keeping the plot open back with high quality films that come to spend much time perfecting. (and with a bigger budget than what they had with the episodes. MGM showed his ability to manufacture a great film despite modest budget with the launch of SG-1 Continuum movie. It was good for only $ 7 million. I saw the behind the scenes of Continuum and the Ark of Truth and were very creative and innovative with its special effects techniques) Ultimately, as a fan, I wish I could never end. But you know what they say ... all good things must come to an end. Now I just have to find a new show to watch on Friday nights instead ....
